How to make sherbet

EXPLANATION

How to make sherbet.

In this writing I am going to tell you how to make sherbet.

Firstly, to make sherbet we need the following ingredients.

  • Icing Sugar
  • Cordial
  • Baking Soda
  • Citric Acid
  • Tartaric

To begin, making sherbet we first mix the icing sugar and Cordial. Then we and the baking soda and mix it well.  To this mixture we add two of the main ingredients which are the Citric Acid and Tartaric.

Finally, to make the sherbet work we need to add water.  We get this water from our mouth.

The ingredients in sherbet react because we mix an acid with carbonate. This form bubbles.

Reading School Journal

Birthday Party

School journal.png

I  have read the story "Birthday Party" from the  School Journal. This story is about Tana’s turning 10 years old. Her nana and koro are coming all the way from Rotorua and grandad and grandma Wilson are also coming, so are her uncles and aunties, to her birthday party. There were chips, peanuts, lollies and cakes as well as a big birthday cake that her mother had made in the shape of a number ten, covered in jellybeans and pebbles. Tana loved her present. She thanked her nana and her koro so much.

I am Angelina

Hi I am a girl, I am 9 years old.  My name is Angelina.  I live in the quiet suburb of Glen Innes , in Auckland, New Zealand.  I go to a school in our area called Glen Innes School.  I am proud of my green and black uniform and wear it daily to school.

I have brown eyes, and long black hair.  Sometimes I colour my hair.

The things I like doing at school are playing tennis and handball. Going swimming everyday is also  cool.   I also love writing and updating my blog every week. It is cool to see so many people from all over the world reading my writing.

Like all the students in my class, I like food.  I enjoy eating brownies and mango.

I have many friends at school too.  In school we get together to play handball, tennis, touch and master. I love playing with my best friends, Melissa, Maia, Asiana and Hilda-Rose. Sometimes we get together after school for a game of touch.

Glen Innes is a beautiful  place to be in.
