The lost bucket and shovel

One hot sunny day the Tokoroa family went to Kohimarama beach. Before Ben, Tom Sophie and sarah went to kohimarama beach.
They packed some clothes and put on their swimming gear.
Dad said” hurry up and Mum replied” wait, i’m looking for the bucket and shovel for the kids.
Mum, dad and the kids went to the beach.
When they got to the beach all the kids went racing to the beach and they said who ever is last they have to walk with mum and dad.
Then Ben came last then he had to walk with mum and dad.

The kids is swimming in the beach and having fun.
They can have a little swim and they had to change out of their swimming gear.
Then they realized they lost their bucket and shovel for the beach.
Mum and Dad left the kids at the beach and they went to get another bucket and shovel at the shop next to their house.

After they went to change they went home and they packed their leftover clothes and put it back in the cupboard. They enjoyed going to kohimarama beach. When they got home they were tired then they went to sleep.

This is snapshot of my learning in Mathematics.
I was learning how to divide 2 digit by 1 digit numbers.
I found the work easy to do.
It was easy because 2 digit by 1 digit numbers are quite easy and a little bit hard.
Next I want to learn about 3 digit by 1 digit numbers.

Taekwondo

Mrs Robinson trained Room 9 in taekwondo. We learned punches and kicks because we were going to break a board in week eight. We learned the 5 tenets of  Taekwondo.  They are Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-control and Indomitable Spirit. She was a very good trainer for Room 9.

In week 1 Room 9 sat on the field and learned the student oath which was
I shall observe the tenets of Taekwon-Do.
I shall respect the instructor and seniors.
I shall never misuse Taekwon-Do.
I shall be a champion of freedom and justice.
I shall build a more peaceful world.

Mrs Robinson taught us the korean numbers 1 to 10. We counted every time we practiced punching. On our last day for taekwondo we had to break a board. I broke a green board. Mrs Robinson was a good teacher. to train with her.

How toys work.

How toys work

I have found out that my car toy pushes and pull.
The toy in the picture is a pushing toy.
This toy came from McDonald's. This toy is kind of an old toy. It can work by pushing and pulling and sometimes you can turn the car to go to the other direction. My toy can ride on hard and straight surfaces like tables and a chair.
